Testimonials

We’ve been going to Resler Automotive since 1995 (when they were Resler Chevron). We own complicated cars (a Saab, a Lexus, a Mercedes) and have been to Resler Automotive probably twice a year for the last 13 years and have never been disappointed. The latest example, our Mercedes-Benze AC was making a groaning noise at idle. The MB dealer offered to replace the AC system at nearly $2,000. Resler found a missing bolt, and with labor the repair was $42. Two years ago they recharged our Lexus AC and all of the freon leaked out. They then discovered they omitted a connector, and recharged again with success. Many other places would have charged us twice (at about $50 a pop) for their mistake…. not Resler. Most of the mechanics there have been there since we moved into town in 1995. All are ASE technicians. They all seem to love what they do. We are particularly partial to Art. – Rick Chumsae

Always honest, no hidden charges. Very good at communicating with the customer. Have even accommodated early morning drop off for service. Most of the mechanics have been there a long time (very little turn over) and gives extra confidence about getting work done there. I highly recommend this place and I WILL take my cars there again. – Delfino Garza

I’ve used these folks for over a year now. They checked the car over for all the problems listed. Hooked it up to the computer, took it for a test drive. Called me with what they found wrong and an estimate of charges. They repaired my car and told me what they could not fix. Recommended a transmission repair place. Courteous, professional. I was called a week later to ensure my car was still running properly. Thank you Resler Automotive! – Karla Harmeier-Rucker

I used Angies list to find this mechanic, and I was very impressed with the service I was provided. I dealt with Art at resler automotive. He as very professional and courteous. The origonal estimate he gave me was actually more expensive than the final bill. How often does that happen? I have never been to a mechanic that charged me less than the origonal estimate. We even added a couple extra things to be done and it still came out to less money. I feel like i was treated fairly and more importantly, honestly. There were a couple times that Art could have charged me more than he did for the service and I wouldn’t have known the difference. He also could have done work that I didn’t really need, but Art was completly upfront and honest about all the work he did for me. Resler Automotive has earned a customer for as long as I live in El Paso. – Justin Lutz

We have been using Resler Automotive in west El Paso for our auto servicing for several years. Although we have yet to require extensive repairs, we have always been very satisfied with the treatment we’ve received. Their work area is kept clean; the employees are courteous and responsive; and the work has been completed on time. Recently, Reser Automotive replaced the brake pads on the front of our 2001 Camry. Subsequently we noticed a burning smell and, when applying the brakes, heard a squealing sound. Regardless of the cause (perhaps manufacturing defect), they immediately replaced the pads again at no charge, either for materials or labor. We recommend this company. – Richard Palmer

I needed tires for my 2003 GMC Yukon. My husband did some research and decided which tires he wanted. I called Resler Automotive because they are rated highly with our auto club. They were limited in suppliers for the tire we wanted, but could get them for us within a few days. However, the owner gave me the option of shopping around for a better price than what he could get, and said he could mount and balance them for us. I found a great deal online and had them shipped right to Resler Automotive. They contacted me when they arrived and put them on the Yukon. I also received a 10% discount because of our auto club membership. Service was quick, customer service was excellent. Communication was superb! A great experience. – Julie Yedlick

We took in my wife’s car, 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, because the air conditioning was not working. The folks at Resler determined the problem was one they had seen before and recommended we take it to a Chevrolet dealer for repair. Following the recommendation of Resler Automotive, we took the car to the nearest Chevrolet dealer and the subsequent repair was covered under warranty so Resler saved us a good deal of money with their honesty. I will definitely use them for any future work as well as tell my friends and neighbors about my experience. Thank you Resler! – Robert Worthy
